The Cortland Diner
This
Country Diner, in some form or another, has been in existance for quite
some time. Purchased by the Speer family December 1st of 2005, the
change from country grocery to country diner, deli, bakery came
gradually with the restaurant now seating up to 48 people. You're always
greeted with a hearty HELLO as soon as you walk in the door and
the girls work hard to make your visit a great experience. Although
you'll still find grocery items such as breads to batteries,
and fishing bait and tackle to toilet paper, the main focus of owner
Gail Speer is to provide plenty of hot, home cooked food and specialty
desserts to compliment the lunch specials. There are 6 coolers full of
any kind of pop and milk you want. Novelty ice cream is always fresh and
available and don't forget your bags of ice. Come out to the Diner and
experience the history for yourself.
